Okusi Krasa – Flavours of the Karst

“Flavours of the Karst” was established in 2001 with the aim of preserving traditional flavours in our restaurants while enriching ancient recipes with local products. Each autumn, local restaurants craft special menus around a yearly theme, blending time-honoured recipes with fresh local ingredients. The festival showcases the Karst’s rich heritage – from its history and culture to its wines and cuisine – highlighting how fresh local produce becomes authentic, wholesome fare that bridges past and present. The event brings together the entire food community, from winemakers and beekeepers to olive oil makers, cheese producers and coffee roasters, creating a true celebration of Karst flavours.
