Each year for two days, Duino Castle transforms into the kingdom of Vitovska, the most renowned native wine variety of the Trieste, Gorizia and Slovenian Karst. This two-day event is organised by the Karst Winegrowers Association in collaboration with local restaurateurs. While enjoying breathtaking views over the Gulf of Trieste and the Grado Lagoon, visitors can taste Vitovska wines from across the variety’s entire production area. Guests can savour dishes specially prepared by selected Flavours of the Karst restaurants, accompanied by excellent wines.
