The Teranum and Red Wines of the Karst Festival is an event dedicated to promoting all native, artisanal and natural red wines from the Trieste area. Here, visitors can taste remarkably different wines despite their origins in closely neighbouring areas: from Muggia, through Breg and the Rosandra Valley, to Doberdò del Lago, naturally crossing the Karst plateau. The main stars are Terrano/Teran, Refosco/Refošk and the winemakers themselves. In collaboration with the Okusi Krasa/Sapori del Carso restaurant group, visitors can enjoy perfect pairings of red wines with the finest culinary delicacies. The Festival takes place in a different location each year.
